GEOGloWS originated from a NASA SERVIR project for the Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) hub at the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). The team downscaled forecasts from ECMWF and developed applications for Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan.
